Get outdoors. Just a brisk 20 minute walk will give your skin an instant glow as well as boosting sluggish circulation.

Have a veggie juice, for clear skin and a focused mind.

Extremely rough areas such as elbows and knees need extra hydration. To soften, pay attention to these areas when showering and moisturising.

Introduce body brushing to your morning beauty regime. It will encourage blood flow, wake up your lymphatic system and improve skin texture in just a few minutes.

Tips for avoiding Nail problems

1. Wear rubber gloves when using cleaning products, or during prolonged use of soap and water. This will help prevent splits in the nails, as well as irritation to your skin.

2. Keep your nails well moisturised - whenever you wash your hands remember to rub moisturiser into your nails, too.

3. Don’t worry about white spots. They aren’t a sign of calcium or any other dietary deficiency and are simply caused by minor bumps and injuries to your nails - and will eventually grow out.

4. Cut toenails straight across rather than down the edges to reduce the risk of painful ingrowing
toenails.

5. Don’t wear trainers constantly, as this can lead to infected ingrowing toenails

A full handbag can weigh as much as 10lbs, so its no surprise that carrying one over your shoulder can cause neck and shoulder problems. Try to keep your bag as light as possible and alternate it between shoulders regularly. Better still, opt for a smaller bag that you can swap back and forth from hand to hand.
