Quote of the Day

‘nothing makes a woman look prettier than blusher. It’s the one item of make-up that can give skin a quick boost in the middle of the afternoon.’

Lipstick Shapes

Wednesday, April 19th, 2006

After a few applications your lipstick bullet starts to take on a whole new shape and meaning. First, it clearly indicates the way you apply your lipstick, but it may even reveal a certain side to your character!

Flat shaped. This suggests that you apply lipstick to the bottom lip only and then press you lips together to coat both of them. It intimates that you’re matter of fact, like to do things on the spot and swiftly, and have a no-nonsense kind of approach,

Sloping. A lipstick that is flat on one side and pointing upwards on the other suggests that you apply it at an angle with your bottom lip open. You’re likely to be sexy, seek attention and usually get it, but can be quite stressed. Psychologists say that the steeper the slope, the greater the stress.

Pointy. When the lipstick is shaped a bit like the roof of a house - low at the sides and rising to a point in the middle - the chances are you apply your lipstick evenly to both and bottom lips. Psychologically speaking you have a calm, balanced and neat personality.

Bullet. If your lipstick becomes completely dome-like in shape, it means that, even without realising it, you are evenly sculpting the shape of your lipstick much as you would an ice cream cone. This indicates that you have a thoughtful, quiet, but very smart personality.
